I think I have played with something in my nortons and no longer can access
my email using OE, and MSN Messenger will not launch at all any more. HELP, I
am going nuts having to deactivate my Norton to use Email - but MSN is the
real killer...can't talk with people.

Dump Norton and get something decent like AVG (www.grisoft.com) or Avast.

You'll need to remember what "something" you played with and undo it.

If you post back to this thread, please tell us:

- your Windows version;

- what product "Nortons" is (i.e., NAV, NSW, NPF, NIS...);

- what happens when you try access your mail in OE; and

- what happens when you try to launch MSN Messenger.
