I would like to know how to back up folders in OE and put them on a disk. I
can't seem to find help on this anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

Backup and Resto

If you want to be able to read them from the CD, then:

Create a folder on your Desktop, then in Outlook Express open the folder
with the messages you want to save. Highlight one message, then Ctrl+A will
highlight them all, (or hold the Ctrl button down while you select only the
messages you want), Now, drag and drop them to the folder on your Desktop.
(Easiest if the folder shortcut is on the Taskbar).

Now you can copy that folder to a CD and you will be able to read the
messages on the CD by double-clicking on them.

The downside of this is that messages that have the same subject will be
overwritten. To avoid this, purchase:

Vincenzo,

LOL:

I was wondering who you were replying to. Anytime someone starts doing those
needless replies, I put them in my Kill-File. Anyone that does that will not
get any help from me. I must have about 60 names in my Message Rules and
is right about in the middle, so I killed
him a while ago.

Strangely enough, for my regular e-mail, I have no rules except to divert
certain messages and get no Spam. I only get it in the newsgroups. VBEG
