IS there anyone who can help me. I have been on-line searching and on the
phone with dell. We recently purchased a new computer with XP Home. OE 6 stalls our outgoging email when we have the "Spellcheck enabled" If I remove the check and manually check the email for spelling it does it also. I cannot seem to get an answer for this Sincerely Andi |

Are you using the spell check from Word? What version of Office?
If there is an error message, see: Spell Checking does not work in OE: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/spellcheck.htm And: An error occurred while the spelling was being checked or: Spell Check was halted: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=224176 If there is no error message, try in a new identity. You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old identity and delete it.
