Default Double enties from hotmail

I am getting double entries of each email in My Outlook Express Inbox from
my hotmail account. I know this has probably been answered, but the fixes I
have found don't do it. I tried unchecking the "Automatically download
message...preview pane" to no avail.
Thanks for your help

Right click on the Hotmail Inbox and select Synchronization Settings and
select Don't Synchronize

Duplicate messages.

For Hotmail, or IMAP accounts:

ToolsOptionsGeneral tab. Uncheck either: When starting, go directly to my
Inbox folder or, Send and receive messages at startup.

Just do not select your Hotmail Inbox till all the headers have been
downloaded. In other words do NOT have your Inbox selected as the default
folder when OEX fires up. Leave it at the Welcome page.
