I have tons of spam getting thru to my inbox ( many with subject box
blatantly sexual in text ) and two of my known address emails getting sent to
deleted mail....I want to know if anyone else is experiencing this... I am
actually getting more spam in my inbox now than regular mail and I have my
spam on highest blocked setting !!! Is there something I'm missing or is
there anything I can do to stop these ...???? please help.. thanks.Maureen

OE doesn't have any spam filtering other than rules that you define.
Spam filters at ISPs are deliberately loose so some spam will leak
through. Users are far more sensitive to false positives (good mails
tagged as spam) then they are for false negatives (spam that doesn't
get tagged). E-mail providers (that are not ISPs) often have tighter
spam filtering or it can be adjusted regarding its aggressiveness.

What is missing is that you need to employ a local or client-side
anti-spam filtering solution. I know some folks that like Mailwasher
but be warned that the free version is so crippled that it is crap.
You can trial the paid version to decide if you want to use that
product. SpamPal is free and provides several mechanisms to detect if
e-mail is spam. There are some e-mail providers, like SpamCop, that
are highly energetic in reducing any spam delivered to your mailbox.
It's up to you how to use something MORE to get rid of spam than the
obviously weak spam filter at whomever is your current e-mail
provider.

Default spam getting thru

Yes! Thats why I am here today, to try and find a solution!
I am getting "those kind" of emails every day. Also alot of scammers...
I used my email once for business and posted my address on two websites...
I believe thats when it all started. But there must be a way to stop it...
Did you find any solutions yet Maureen?
