Recently, I'm running across a lot of messages which, when I respond to
them, don't end up with the usual arrows next to the previous user's text. This is after years of never having such a problem, except IIRC, when responding to occasional AOL users. I haven't changed a thing in OE6. Any idea how to solve this problem, assuming I haven't suddenly wandered into nothing but AOL users? |

If the sender has their Plain Text settings set to: MIME | Quoted Printable,
OE will not add the quote carat, (), when you reply. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "JoeSpareBedroom" wrote in message ... Thanks, Bruce. Is that the type of setting that someone might sort of trip
over, rather than consciously set it that way for a good reason? "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... I'm not sure what the News Sending Format is by default, but I /believe/ it
is Uuencode. I do know that MIME/None seems to work best in these NGs. This is in Tools | Options | Send | News Sending Format. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "JoeSpareBedroom" wrote in message ... Thanks, Bruce.
