Default Schedules, Calendar in OE?

Hi, I want to set up my schedules. I thought it could be done in Outlook.
I am a little confused. Are Outlook Express and MS Outlook 2003 different?
Compatible? I have had AOL for 10 years. I am trying to switch because I
could not get DSL through them and am now paying Verizon for my services. I
found that Outlook Express works with Verizon to get my mail. I liked
having a scheduler in AOL -- like a calendar of events and things, to which
I could add. Can I do that here? What is the difference between the two
Outlooks? I cannot seem to get the other one (installed on computer when I
purchased) to work with Verizon email only msn email. When I enter the
Verizon information it says my pw is wrong and then does not sign me in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

See this for info about the differences between OE and Outlook:
http://support.microsoft.com/directo...;en-us;Q257824

Outlook Express does not have a calendar of its own, but there is a third
party app. See:
