Default unable to read saved email messages

i save a lot of email messages to other file folders in XP Home. When I click
on a saves message, it will not open. I triwed to set up a prograsm to read
the file from Folder Options in Control Panel - now when i click on saved
eamil message (eml extension) it opens Outlook Express at whatever message it
was on earlier.

Help!!!
