Hi,

I have posted this before with not too much luck.
I had OE working for months without problems until I tried to activate Gmail
using there program to set up the account .
Now it shows a splash screen and says the Internet Account Manager could not
be opened. Then there is another saying MSOE..... could not initialize.
I got a few tips earlier but none have solved the problem.

Please stick to your original thread Anil.
If the advice that you received does not help then please reply with detail.
Please post specific error messages in their **entirety**, "they contain
clues".
Did you try removing the gmail account and setting it up manually, as per
the detail on the gmail site?

Hi Anil,

Have you tried removing the OE identity? The Registry information for the
identity could now be corrupted. All account information would have to be
reentered.

Just to say the problem is OK now .

I removed the registry entry under Internet Account Manager under my profile
..

These are further details .

OS : Win98. -- For some reason XP does not install on my hardware.

I created a new profile as someone suggested . Outlook express worked there.
But I had some other problems with IE 6 . Clicking on some! links would not
and still does not work.

I could not delete tho Google account through 'normal' channels as OE would
not open up .
Looking through the registry under Internet Account Manager I could not find
any mention of Google . So I am not sure whether that was the reason.
