Default Delete in Outlook Express

I had the EXACT same Problem! The answer from Steve CURED & FIXED it also!
It was driving me crazy trying to "Fix" it! All I was getting from Road
Runner, MS, etc. was the old runaround & blame it on everybody else!
Thanks!

I highlighted all my messages in the Delete Folder. They are deleted, but
now I can't delete anything anywhere else. It tells me that Outlook Express
is not responding and I have to shut it down. It is like my delete is hung
up somewhere. If I click on my Delete Folder now, it says it isn't
responding. Please Help!

This folder is a discrete file named Deleted Items.dbx,
probably in your c:\windows\application data folder.
You can locate it by / Find File / del*.dbx and simply
delete it. When OE restarts, it ought to create a new
(and empty) file named Deleted Items.dbx.
