Default Mail Notification Wrong

I recently have been getting an email notification in the task bar when I
have no mail. Might say 3 new or whatever, but it's either wrong or I don't
have any at all. Not a big deal, just annoying...

Thanks,
Jeff

Default Mail Notification Wrong

Check other folders. If you have Blocked Senders, or certain Message Rules
set up, you will see a new mail notification, it's just not in the Inbox.

Default Mail Notification Wrong

Jeff,

Just a thought. I find a lot of my email goes into the Anti-Spam
folder(Norton). I have lowered some security settings but this continues to
happen. I have decided it is OK this way. I check this folder frequently and
if I find something there I want I move it to the Inbasket folder. ....John

Thanks, but I don't have any rules or blocked senders for mail.
