Default Cannot receive e-mail (but I can send it).

Dear Lindsay,
I note that you posted your question back in December, 2005. Did you ever get
a fix? I recently installed DSL wich uses Outlook Express, so I have been
working to set up my mail box, but like you, none of posted messages from other
ISPs come through and wind up in my inbox?
Please post me if you found the fix.
Gratefully yours. Sam

I am running XP service pack 2, and I have already tried these things:
shutting off anti-virus for e-mail,
turning off the firewall,
deleting and re-installing outlook express through add/remove programs,
closing outlook express, deleting the inbox.dbx file and letting the program
create a new one,
compacting all files,
tried to send test e-mails through two different internet accesses (aol and
one other) to see if the POP 3 and STMP ports are blocked (their not)
looked at both the POP3.log and STMP.log to see if there were any errors
(there are none, after authentication, I get "ok", and "accepted").
My e-mail does show up received on the webmail servers - the tech people I
asked at the server company say it is something wrong on my end with outlook
express.

If anyone can help me to receive my e-mail (I have read through the posted
discussions here, but still can't find a solution), I would greatly
appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
Lindsay

So are you getting messages from your primary ISP?

Do you get any error messages on the other mail accounts?

In Tools, Accounts, Mail did you set up each of the mail accounts
according to instructions from each of the mail services?

On the General tab for each account is the "Include this account when
checking mail" checked?
