Hi there , wonder if someone can give a clue on how to cure my problem.
I use BT as my ISP and use Outlook express to get my mail, I am finding that in the properties of my mail account that the address for the incoming mail server (mail.btinternet.com) is being changed to a numeric address which I think is in my router , it can be fine for days and then changes. any idea's would be appreciated -- Best Wishes Chris Hughes Wales UK |

That problem is mostly caused by 3rd party mail add-on programs, mainly Anti-Virus scanning, or Anti-Spam programs. Best place to start would be to disable the AV mail scan for incoming and outgoing mail, It is an additional layer and it serves no useful purpose at all, so long as you keep your definitions updated. -- Regards Steve.
