Default I am running Windows XP with SP2 and Outlook Express 6

I can not receive, send, delete, or save anything from my mailbox. I use Cox
as my ISP so I called Tech Support there and they said the error it is
reading is associated with Outlook 2002 running 2 different Offices. Is there
any way I can repair this on my own? Thank You!

Outlook and Outlook Express are entirely different programs.

You stated Cox Tech said it was an Outlook error message. Please post the
error message in its entirety and we'll fix it.

It pops up a little box that reads "Outlook Express was unable to send
receipt. then the error message reads "Your server has unexpectedly
terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems,
network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'Barbara's Mail',
Server: 'pop.east.cox.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F". Thank you!

Try disabling all options in OEtoolsoptionsreceipts, **except for**
'notify me of each read receipt request', apply/ok. Close/Re-open & Test OE?

Your identity could also be corrupt? Create a new Identity fileidentities,
set up one of your accounts in that and try it, if that works then import
all your messages etc before deleting the old Identity.
