I have no message rules set up for any of my email accounts and I don't
remember ever setting up any kind of "out-of-office" auto-response message. But somewhere, OE is automatically replying to all messages saying "I am currently away from my computer. I will contact you as soon as I return." It even replies to the auto-reply messages each time they hit my in-box! I run a daily virus check, and regularly run adaware and spybot and nothing odd has ever come up with any of these. I've got windows XP Anyone have an idea how to find what is generating this reply and how to trun it off? Mark |

How do you know that OE is sending the out of office messages?
You probably have the out of office message setup in the webmail access for your account. -- Ronald Sommer "Qi" wrote in message ... OE doesn't have an OOF (Out of Office) option though Outlook (OL) does.
Your ISP may offer a similar Vacation option on the webmail's Tools or Options page. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Qi wrote: I have no message rules set up for any of my email accounts and I don't remember ever setting up any kind of "out-of-office" auto-response message.
