Checked emails first thing this morning. Fine. Closed down.

Rebooted about 45 mins later and all my messages in the inbox have gone. I
checked the inbox.dbx and discovered that it was empty, but another
inbox(1).dbx had beed created which has a stuff in, probably my original
inbox emails.

There was also another deleted(1).dbx folder

What's the easiest way to get these back to their original place please?

Extract the messages from the old folders with one of these programs and
then drag them back into a folder in OE's Folder List.

Never store messages in OE's default folders. Create new folders and drag
the messages to them (or use Message Rules to do so).

Normally if the messages are inmportant they are moved to a seperate folder
on my desktop. There weren't any really important emails in there but I got
hold of a couple that I wanted.
