Sometimes, when I get back to the PC after some time of inactivity, if I
click on a new message to read it, I get the below error message:
"Your server has unexpectedly terminated tyhe connection. Possible causes
for this include server problems, or a long period of inactivity."

Note that I use IMAP server.

Any clue?

That's normal for an IMAP server.

Error Message: Message Could Not Be Displayed...

You left the connection to the server open. After an idle timeout
specified by the mail server administrator, the server disconnected the
session to save its resources so that others can access the server.

News servers do the same thing.
