Hi,
Does anyone know why I can't see the colors and the fonts I change in Outlook express? The recipients see the colors but I don't. This happens both in received and sent mail. Thanks Hera |

Are you setting the fonts / colors in Create Mail, or Tools | Options | Compose? Sounds like the latter, and you are reading in Plain Text: Tools | Options | Read.

Go to Tools | Options | Read | Fonts and set the encoding to Western and click the button to make that default.
See if that makes any difference. Take one of your sent messages and save it to the desktop and rename it from .eml to .mht and then open it. See if you see colors there. steve "HERA DORE" wrote in message ... Bruce, I have tried everything. Everything is in HTML format both the read and the compose, but nothing is working. Steve,
Thanks for the tip. I tried this and nothing is happening. I also realized it is not just the colors that I can't change. I am also having trouble changing the font and the font size. E.g. Here is one in Courier and one in red and in a font size of 24. This all looks in Ariel size 12 and in black on my computer. Hera |
