For historical reasons related to migrating a large mail system from
Netscape to OE6, I have two mail folders called "Inbox archive" (where all non-current non-mailing-list messages go) and "Inbox archive 2" which was another attempt to migrate a large Inbox to the new system. "Inbox archive" is by far the more complete of the two; but "Inbox archive 2" has some messages (a widely scattered few dozen of the 4,000 odd messages it contains) which are not present in the primary archive. I would like to move those messages, and ONLY those messages, to the main archive, and then delete the "Inbox archive 2" folder, thus deleting all those messages which are duplicates of ones already in the main archive. If these were e.g. Windows Explorer folders, I could just open two windows side by side and quickly page through to find the ones that do not match. So my question is, is there any way to do that in OE6? i.e. to have two mail folders open in adjacent panes? Thanks for enlightenment, -- Dr. John Burchard Tepe Gawra Salukis http://saluqi.home.netcom.com/ |
