Default taille de ma piece jointe ou d'un document que je recois en piece jointe

lorsque je scanne un document afin de l'envoyer en piece jointe il est
realisé dans un grand format .je ne peux pas l'expédier car il est trop
lourd.comment faire pour réduire au format 21 X 29,7 ou A4 pour l'expédier?
