No. OE has been changed to Windows Mail in the next OS (Vista). Its the
same program with enhancements and fixes, so its basically what one could
call OE7, although its not. G

I have to disagree with both the answers to this question as I yesterday
downloaded a copy of OE 7 Beta from the Microsoft download page. My problem
with the program is that the exe file icon resides on my desktop, the program
has been installed, but I am unable to get it to load. OE ^ still remains in
the quick launch on the task bar. Each time I try to click on the instal
icon I am told that OE & is already installed and it appears in the
Add/Remove software slot in thre control panel. while OE6 is not there. Is
there any way I can sort this out, please?

There is no such thing as OE7 Beta. When you realize that it was IE7 Beta
that you downloaded, then:

Beta testers of IE7 Public Preview are asked to post their comments to
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general newsgroup.

On the web:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...orer. general

In your newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...plorer.general

If you still insist that you downloaded OE7 from the MS Download page, then
please provide us with a link to that page.

Windows version?

Are you confusing IE7 Beta2 with "OE7"? (IE7 B2 does not include a new
version of OE.)

IIf you're talking about Windows Live Mail Desktop beta, I assume that you'd
have called it that and not "OE7 Beta".
