This time, before you start MS Outlook Epress, rename your "Sent Items.dbx" folder to "Sent Items.old". Now, when you next start MS Outlook Exress, it will create a new "Sent Items.dbx" file. You may have to uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" box in the Folder View options; you should do that anyway, to avoid being suckered by the double extension trick[1]. Then you can either use the Maintenance option to move the message store (you don't have to actually move it) to find the location, or just use Search, for "Sent Items.dbx", and go to that folder to work on it. Note[1]: Malicious actors will name a malicious file something like, "virus.txt.exe". With "Hide file extensions for known file types" checked, that file would look harmless, like, "virus.txt". -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
