Well, I did. I created another file called "old sent messages" and went

nearly 1000 sent messages and moved those also so as to free up some

Yeah, well, now...now, all the letters show up in the new folder as
unread and the "to" part is not there nor is it an option in the columns
drop down. Not knowing who and what I sent these letters to is a huge
disadvantage as now each letter needs to be opened one by one, which
will take hours and hours and hours.

I wasn't warned about this particular hassle. Is there something I can
do to make the sent letters look as they used to be before I moved them
to a new folder?

Really, Eudora and other options are also looking good. The reason I
haven't switched long ago is because of the amazing help one gets in
this newsgroup.

Go the folder needing the To column.
Right click on the column headers, Columns, ...........
