Default OLEXP outbound mail failure

My OLEXP 6 suddenly quite sending emails, although it still receives OK.
Gives me errror code 0x800CCC0E. I looked up this error code on MSN,
followed directions exactly to remedy but it didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks.

The entire error would be nice, but are you using MSN? It is most likely a
problem on their end. See this ongoing thread in this newsgroup.

Bruce, thanks for the response. Yes, I am using MSN. And here is the entire
error message...hope this helps.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'MSN Mail', Server:
'smtp.live.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

It would appear to me to be an MSN server problem like the others are
seeing.

Bruce (and others),

Today was to be day six of the outage of my OEXP6 mail sending facility. As
you surmised, however, it must have been a problem with the MSN server
because suddenly it has begun to work again, just like my episode fifteen
months ago. I did nothing except check my settings against the
correspondence you sent. Since everything was OK, I just waited
(im)patiently and it solved itself. Thanks again for your help.
