Inbox and local folder posts have all disappeared
Hi all,
After closing Outlook the compacting mode took over and where normally things went okay afterwards, this time all posts in most of my local folders ( about 10 of them) simply disappeared. Maybe 2 of the folders were affected but everything else is gone. Compacting mode has run numerous times without any problems in the past (though I never look forward to it) and I'm not sure why this happened now. Can anyone offer an explanation or some guidance into how I might recover the emails?
