Default Outlook Express problem

I'm using Outlook Express 6. When I open Express, the Express toolbar is
shown but the rest of the page is a web page (and not all of the web page is
shown either).

Please help!!

What happens if you open OE with no other program running, (i.e. IE),? What
do you see?

Exactly the same thing. I've tried restoring to a previous point, and
restarting - no difference,

Default Outlook Express problem

Any idea what Website?

Put the cursor at the lowest point of OE visible until it turns into a
double arrow and then drag it down. Does the rest appear?

If still no joy:

You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it.
If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old
identity and delete it.

And if still no joy, your machine may be infected since a Website should not
show up in you are not connected to the Internet.

Is the menu bar there? Try View | Layout and enable the folder list and
then see if you can select the folders.

I've just tried that - no change. I can see the menu bar and the tool bar and
that's it. Now the entire rest of the screen is completely blank.

I wish I could show you a screen shot. I don't think it's a setting because
I know I haven't changed anything.
