Default Contact List under OE 6

I am using OE 6 under XP SP2.

I have just tried using the Contact List to send emails instead of using
Tools/Address Book. Should have done that years ago.

One peculiarity puzzles me. No matter which contact I select, the text
portion of the message gets double spaced. (If I use my old method of
creating mail via Tools/Address Book, the text is single spaced.) I found I
could fix that for individual contacts one at a time by changing the format
from HTML to Plain text. Is there a way to make all contacts Plain Text all
a once without doing it for each one?

Is it normal for the text to be HTML when using the Contact List?

Thank you.

You sure lost me with this lot?

Why not simply send mail via Create Mail button and click on To: and select
recipients from the address book?

Whether or not your default for new messages is plain text or HTML is
controlled by Tools, Options, Send, Mail format.
