After setting up additional accounts in Outlook Express new "inboxes" are
shown for each account. However there is still one only "sent" box and I would like each account to have its own dedicated "sent" box in which outgoing messages are automatically filed. I have been able to set up extra "sent" boxes in a tree from the existing single "sent" box but I can find no way to configure OE to send my messages to them. Any suggestions? -- mole |

I don't know how you got extra inboxes, but you can only have one sent items
to which OE dumps the messages. You can use message rules and apply them afterwards. steve "mole" wrote in message ... Hi Steve
The extra Inboxes just appeared after I set up the extra accounts! I have tried using Message Rules thinking it would be easy but although I set up a rule "where the from line contains (my account name)", and then chose the destination as the new sent folder I had set up for this account, my outgoing messages still ended up in the original main sent folder with nowt appearing in the dedicated sent folder. -- mole "Steve Cochran" wrote: I don't know how you got extra inboxes, but you can only have one sent items to which OE dumps the messages. Reads like Windows Live Mail instead of Outlook Express unless these are
IMAP accounts. "mole" wrote in message ... The extra Inboxes just appeared after I set up the extra accounts! Are you suggesting that there will be dedicated Inbox folders and Sent Items
folders for each (POP3) account in WLMail, Ron? Ron Sommer wrote: Look at Windows Live Mail. http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "mole" wrote in message ... How about that? Guess that's why I'm not a Windows Live Mail MVP. VBEG

I have had a quick look at Live Mail but can't see any way of setting up
several sent folders. Have you done it or do you know that it is certainly possible to do this? -- mole "Ron Sommer" wrote: Look at Windows Live Mail. http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview -- Ronald Sommer "mole" wrote in message ... Each email account in WLM has Inbox, Sent items, Drafts, Junk email, and
Deleted items. WLM has already setup the folders. The spell checking is similar to Microsoft Word. It underlines as you type. If you are viewing an account folder, clicking on New message opens the message composition window with that account as the sender. -- Ronald Sommer "mole" wrote in message ...
