I am running Outlook XP Student and Teacher edition, and frequently need to
toggle between contacts and calendar, email and memo notes, etc. To accomplish this, one normally right clicks on one of the icons on the left side Outlook toolbar, right clicks the new function, and opens in in a new window. Recently, this function has stopped functioning properly and, when I right click on the icon, an error message appears that has no error number. It merely states, "Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." It also asks if I want to report this to MS. In explanatory notes, it appears that this is some unspecified type of .dll error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office and, have restarted the computer, all to no avail. Does anyone have any other suggestions about what the problem may be and how to address it? |
