Default Insert Attachment - default folder

Using OE6 and 98SE.

I have amended the registry settings (below) so that the OE "Insert
Attachment" box now opens and displays my preferred folders/files (C:\),
rather than the default "My Documents" folder/files. However on each new
OE session, whilst my preferred folders are displayed in the main box,
the "Look in:" box still displays "My Documents".

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\She
ll Folders\Personal

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Use
r Shell Folders\Personal

I have searched without success for another setting that could be
causing this problem and wonder if anybody could offer any suitable
suggestions.

TIA

This was answered in another newsgroup.

If you must post identical messages in more than one newsgroup please
crosspost, i.e. please place all of the newsgroups in the Newsgroup field of
one message, separated by commas. That way when someone reads the message
in one newsgroup it will be marked as read in all of them. In addition, an
answer posted in one newsgroup will generally show up in all of them.

This is usually not necessary since most of those who answer posts read
more than one newsgroup.

Thanks for the lesson! However, I only discovered this (more
appropriate) OE6 newsgroup *after* I had posted my message to the other
group. As I don't have the ability to delete posts from the server, I
couldn't remove the other post.
