Default Problem with 'To' box

When composing a new email if I start to type the name in of this person
which happens to be Julie, it immediately shows a name of Julie Mobile,
now I don't have a listing for Julie Mobile in my Address Book! I have
one for Julie which is the one I want. I have just tried it with another
name and it does the same again. If I click on the To box and type the
start of the name it performs as expected. Anyone know where it is
pulling this from and how I resolve it? I do have Palm desktop installed
and I am wondering if it has anything to do with this. In the back of
my mind there is something lurking about this but I don't know what.
Thanks.

Yes I appear to have 4 others and I don't know how they got there. They
appear to have no data in them anyway. Should I delete them? My
Contacts has all my email addresses, then there is one for another
identity that I check on the same computer. The Shared contacts just has
in the right hand pane all my mobile phone contacts. I have just
remembered that I do have Mobile Phone Tools for Motorola installed,
perhaps that is the problem. Also when I went to check I got a message
saying that Address Book was not my default vCard viewer.

Ignore the vcard message.

Is Julie Mobile in your Shared Contacts?

When you view the Address Book from within OE is the left hand folder pane
showing?

OE will check for addresses in your Identity's Address Book folder and the
Shared Contacts.

Yes, I don't have Contacts showing just the Folders

When I have changed the view to show Contacts in the left hand pane as
well as folders it shows all my data which is in the Shared Contacts and
that is all the information that is on my mobile phone, i.e. email
addresses and phone numbers. Don't really want them showing in my OE
Address Book. If I just click on Address Book in the Toolbar I get what
I expect just the people I have entered with their email addresses.

When syncing with your Mobile phone you can set up a stand-alone WAB file
and use that.
The Windows Address Book (WAB), see:

Name it Nokia or something relevant :-)

HTH?
