Default Frustrating Problem with OE

Hello there ,

The mail account settings keep getting changed from mail.btinternet.com to
some thing 127.1.0.0, someone kindly suggested I stop email scanning in
MacAfee but the problem persists and its driving me mad, anyone else have
any suggestions please ?

An anti-spam program can do it also. If you have one bundled with McAfee, I
would get rid of the entire program.

I'd recommend using AVG Free:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
or:
http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/ww

When prompted, choose Custom Installation and *uncheck* e-mail scanning when
you see the option.

Norton (and McAfee) products are not Outlook Express friendly, and I don't
know of any OE-MVP that would recommend using them.
