I'm using OE6 and browsing binary newsgroups.
When I select a multi-part msg and try to combine them I get a msg in the bottom left of the OE window: "Searching message for hyperlinks ... " When OE is in this mode everything grinds to a snails pace. How do I stop OE from searching for hyperlinks in binary msgs? TIA Oscar |

Before attempting the Combine/Decode operation, click View/Layout and
disable the Preview Pane. If you have to do this type operation frequently, then add a button to the Toolbar for Preview (right click the Toolbar, select Customize, highlight Preview, click Add and Close). -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
That works like a champ. And the toolbar button is a toggle too! Oscar "Jim Pickering" wrote in message ...
