Hi:
In the past, every time I e-mailed, all e-mail addresses were saved automatically upon sending e-mails. I've been using both XP and Vista alternatively due to the work, however there are NO saved Addresses on my Address Book/Main ID in both XP and Vista, except someone e-mailed on business purpose for selling. Wonder whether there is some 'trick' for saving e-mail addresses automatically every time I send an e-mail? Thanks for your help in advance. |

The only way for addresses to be saved automatically is to Reply to a sender
with this option checked. Tools | Options | Send. Automatically put people I reply to in the address book. You can click Reply and then close the window without sending, but there is no other way to save the addresses automatically. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "MapleE." wrote in message ... One, Vista uses Windows Mail, not Outlook Express. these are two different email programs and will have different options and settings. Don't expect the same results in both programs. Two, Outlook Express never had an option to save email addresses of the people you send to, unless you are replying to a message. In the TOOLS - OPTIONS menu there is an option under the send tab to "add people your reply to, to your address book." |

Address Book (checked?) Your posting history suggests that MS PowerPoint 2007 may be installed. Is MS Office and or MS Outlook also installed? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ MapleE. wrote: Hi: In the past, every time I e-mailed, all e-mail addresses were saved automatically upon sending e-mails.
