In posted message 6/14/08 Lately when I boot up my computer I am getting
message -outlook express can free up space. outlook express can compact messages, this may take a few minutes. How do I stop this message from appearing? I forgot to note that I do not use outlook express. Still I need to stop this message from appearing at boot up of my computer. |

installing SP3. NAV should have been disabled prior to installing SP3. See... I uninstalled win desktop search. when I restarted computer outlook express
did not appear. when I reinstalled outlook express and rebooted the outlook express message reapeared. how do I correct. If not, what is your default Mail Client now (e.g., Thunderbird; Eudora; none) and was Windows Live Mail ever installed? 4. Open Add/Remove Programs | open Add/Remove Windows Components: Is the "Outlook Express" option checked or unchecked? If checked and you uncheck it & reboot, does the prompt to compact OE folders persist? 5.
