Hi. does anybody have the answer to the problem I have trying to use OE,
which is: I have an USB plug in wi fi with O2 being the ISP. When I try to
send an Email I get the error message:
The host 'http' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly. Account: 'http', Server: 'http', Protocol: POP3,
Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D.
Also I cannot get access to the newsgroups either. I have used the Wizard
to no avail. Help!

You need to contact your ISP for the correct settings. Enter in OE at
Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties.

Are you referring to an MSN/Hotmail account in OE?

If you can't access newsgroups, how did you post your message using OE in
God-knows-what Windows version (Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express
6.00.2900.3264)?
