Outlook express AND my Oulook 2003, 2 diiferent email addresses, will
suddenly both stop working and both have the 0x800CC0F errror message. Then the next day they both work again? Phoned ISP and pinged my mail accounts. Turned firewall on and off. Turned Avast home edition on and off. Deleted Outlook Express account and added it back. Read about reinstalling Express, but it is happening in Outlook too? Might be 'inactivity', but after rebooting pc it does not work? If it's a 'corrupt' email message, how can it stops both Express and Outlook? Seems to work after pc is off for many hours?
