Hi
I've had a few problems with my Outlook Express recently, one of which is the inability to send smaller photos. Until recently, I might be browsing in 'My Pictures', select a few pix to email and then right-click to 'Send to email recipient', whereupon a window will pop up asking me if I want to make my pictures smaller when emailing. When I select yes, it does just that and automatically inserts the reduced photos into an OE window for sending. That doesn't work any more. Any ideas how I can get it going again? |

You are welcome.
The feature is not part of Outlook Express but part of Windows. The images get reduced before they are ever passed to OE. Apparently something modified the registry to disable the feature in Windows. The command I gave restores that setting. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "vsbauwens" wrote in message ... thanks - was very frustrated with the impossibility to reduce size spent hours searching why in th eprogram then found you thanks vsbauwens "Michael Santovec" wrote: To restore the Resize Picture option during sending Go to Start, Run and enter REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Ting Tong" wrote in message ... Hello Michael. This problem describes exactly what I have going on. However,
I tried your suggestion, and it did not work. I received a message box that reads "The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." I am not sure what this means, because Outlook is working fine otherwise, and I am able to send/receive emails just fine. Any thoughts? Thanks! Michael: please disregard my original message. I was able to remedy the
issue via another post. Thanks anyway. "Corndoggydogg" wrote: Hello Michael. This problem describes exactly what I have going on. However, I tried your suggestion, and it did not work.
