What is better? Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail? For OS Windows XP?

Well, I have never used either, just Outlook Express. But I can tell you
that you can not use Windows Mail on XP, only Vista. So that should narrow down your query a bit. Windows Mail (WM) is Vista only.
Window Live Mail (WLM) is for XP SP2+ or Vista. Both are based on Outlook Express (OE) and all 3 have have similar look and feel and features, although there are differences.
