The DBXpress page "Welcome to OEHelp.com/DBXpress" has a link to "For more
detailed information on the program's operations view the help file ", http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/DBXpress.htm, that is broken. Anyone know what the correct link is? TIA, Phil |

That is the correct link and it's broken. If you've purchased DBXpress,
contact Dr. Cochran using the email he used to send your license. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ pwrichcreek wrote: The DBXpress page "Welcome to OEHelp.com/DBXpress" has a link to "For more detailed information on the program's operations view the help file ", http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/DBXpress.htm, that is broken. Robert,
That is the correct link and it's broken. If you've purchased DBXpress, contact Dr. Cochran using the email he used to send your license. -- Can you assure me that you are authorized to speak for the author of DBXpress? If so, I have some pre-sale questions: 1. It sounds as if the link in question is broken intentionally. Is that the case? 2. What documentation beyond what is available by navigating from the oehelp.com page(s) does the author agree to provide to the purchaser of the product? I mean, is there other stuff beyond what would be provided by that broken link also available to the purchaser? 3. Does the author agree to provide support to the purchaser of the product? If so, is this forum the sole venue for providing that support? 4. I believe the product description that is available by navigating from the oehelp.com page(s) states that only DBXpress -- and not DBExtract -- can be run unattended. Is that the case? Since that is the main feature that I am interested in, it's important to me to understand whether it is available in both products. 5. Does unattended mode include the capability to extract the entire OE database in a single run? If so, does the output retain visibility to the originating OE folder? Does it support extracting individual folders? Phil Richcreek "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: That is the correct link and it's broken. Can you assure me that you are authorized to speak for the author of
DBXpress? I never claimed such authorization. PS: My name is not Robert. pwrichcreek wrote: Robert, That is the correct link and it's broken. I never claimed such authorization.
That's true -- not those exact words. Seems odd that the Doctor has been unresponsive on this forum about his own product. He has often posted here in the past. Dr. Cochran, if you are reading this, please respond. Sorry for misspelling your name, Robear. "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: Can you assure me that you are authorized to speak for the author of DBXpress? Dr. Cochran seldom monitors newsgroups anymore. When he does, it's usually
Vista Mail newsgroup (where he last surfaced in mid-May). pwrichcreek wrote: I never claimed such authorization. That's true -- not those exact words.
