Default able to send but not receive e-mails with new account

hi all

I have set up a new e-mail account for my wife as she has joined facebook
and needs a seperate e-mail address. Although i have tested it and you can
send e-mails from her address to my account, when i try sendinf mail to her
account she does not receive it. I have also tried sending e-mails to and
from a yahoo account and the same problem occurs. The messages can be sent
from her account but not to it.

Any help greatly appreciated thanks.I am using outlook express 6.

Did you go to your Internet Service Provider and setup a new email address?
Is the password for her account the same as your password?
Is this a pop account?

Did you just make up a new e-mail address on your own? It has to be approved
by your ISP.

That's NOT how you set up a new email account with your ISP.
