Default Cannot send e-mail

Error message: The connection to the server has failed.
Account"mail.comcast.net", server 'SMTP.comcast.net', protocol:SMTP,port 25,
secure(SSL) :yes, socket error:10060, error number 0X800CCCOE I have mMcAfee
security (supplied by Comcast) I have two desktops wired direct through a
router and one laptop wireless through the same router. This problem happened
to all three computors at the same time. Could someone please advise. Thank

How do I set up/configure Outlook Express for Comcast email?

I changed the SMTP port to 587 and received the following error: The message
could not be sent because the server rejected the senders e-mail address. The
senders e-mail address was MY . Subject 'Fw: outlet
Express: Account mail.comcast.net', Server SMTP.comcast.net', Protocol:SMTP,
server response: '550 5,1,0 Authentication required' port 587, secure (SSL)
yes, server error 550, error number :0x800CCC78

You're welcome. This change has been hitting people for about a year now.
Comcast started blocking port 25, but I have no idea why it did not do it
for everyone at the same time. They were /supposed/ to notify all the
customers about this as well.
