Default Outlook or Outlook Express, which is better?

I am driving Windows XP, MS Office 2003, and Outlook Express 6.

Is MS Outlook or Outlook Express 6 . . . the better program for managing
and saving E-mails?

Your recommendation will be appreciated.
Thank You,

Thank You Manuel Silva for responding to my question.

You provided a code:
...

I entered this code in the Microsoft Web Site search window,
but the information could not be found.

I am a novice in this area.
How do I access the code that you provided?

Thank You,

If you were using OE to post replies with you could generate
your own identical "code" by starting a reply to your opening post. ; )

What you are seeing is called a news link and it is composed of
a news: prefix and the Message-ID which identifies your post
or in general the Message-ID of the post you are replying to.

I am a novice in this area.

When you have OE set up as your newsreader
with a news server which hosts that message you can just
click on it. If it doesn't appear as a link, e.g., in the web interface
that you are using, you have to copy and paste it somewhere,
such as your IE Address bar, where you can execute it as such.

Without that setup you wouldn't have a default news server.
So then you would have to convert the news link into a news
URL which specifies a news server which hosts the message:

Note: this syntax is Microsoft specific and may not work with
other newsreaders.

And if you want to use OE as your newsreader for this newsgroup
copy and paste this URL

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...tlooke xpress

Note: if you also want to post with OE you may want to customize
the news account that that creates for you.

Thank You, Jan, for responding.

I had clicked all over the link, but it would not open.

And, that is when I copied and pasted it into the Microsoft.com search window.
There was no information found.

I assume that the link was lost in the transmission of the E-mails.

Thank you for informing me.
Please continue to help others.
