It is not a good idea to leave that unchecked for security reasons, use the key combo of Alt+V+H with the message selected instead. -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. OE. [DTS] |

And since you didn't include the other article...................
Are you reading in HTML as opposed to Plain Text? There are a few possibilities. Some are on the sender's end, and some may be on your end. It was one of many I have read, but it suggested the following work around,
toolsoptionssecurity tabuncheck box "block images and other content in HTML email" click OK also, there are two toher boxes in the virus protection section of the security tab that I unchecked, they are the "warn me" and "do not allow" boxes. Click OK twice. Oh, I am using HTML format for sending and recieving mail and news -- Thanks "Bruce Hagen" wrote: And since you didn't include the other article................... Okay thanks I did check your links and the second one was very helpful, and
by changing a bad registry entry I was able to see my pictures now. The BMP defualy did not say what it was supposed to, so I changed default to bmpfile like the link suggested. There was something like picture/viewer in the default setting instead. But thanks alot have a great day. -- Thanks "Bruce Hagen" wrote: Then see the links I posted. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "whywayne" wrote in message ... You're welcome. Make sure to empty your TIFs too.
Clear the Temporary Internet Files. In IE | Tools | Internet Options | Delete Files button. And check the box to Delete Offline content. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "whywayne" wrote in message ...
