Default Links Open Double Windows

A peculiar behavior has beset my machine: when I click on a link in email or in
a newsgroup, I've started getting two identical windows opening. It doesn't
happen in Internet Explorer 7; only coming Outlook Express.

I'm running XP Pro with SP3. All updates are installed. Security is via
Norton's AV, Zone Alarm Pro and Windows Defender.
