Default OE--Lost color choices on Color button on Toolbar

On my OE 6.0 toolbar, I have lost a number of color choices for the text.
Using the button (the "A" icon) on the toolbar, the drop-down menu lists the
colors that used to be there, but now there is no more maroon, fuchsia, lime,
aqua, and most important, red. I still have black, yellow and green. Would
appreciate any help.--

Thank you. June

Why did you drop the discussion you started on August 13th?

http://groups.google.com/group/micro...f979b57fdac084

You never answered the last post there by Michael Santovec, and it appears
that you never created a new identity as I suggested.

Repost

You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it.
If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old
identity and delete it.

My son became very ill and was back in the hospital. When I returned to the
Communities Messages, I didn't find my original posting (probably lack of
sleep.). I follwed the suggestions to date, but have been unable to fix the
problem.

Sorry about your son.

You /did/ do what Michael Santovec suggested in your original thread here?

http://groups.google.com/group/micro...f979b57fdac084

And you /did/ create a new identity as I suggested?

You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it.

Then I would start checking for Hijackware.

Checking for help with Hijackware

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use. It
will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware *with
assistance from an expert in such matters*.

forums for expert analysis, not here.**
