Hello friends

I have Outloos Express on my PC and on my Tablet PC.

Sames address, same settings.

I am not getting all my emails on the PC, but I'm getting them all on the

Uncheck: Delete the messages after 10 days on the PC. Just leave it checked
on the Tablet.

Other things to check:

Your router. Swap the connections and see if it makes a difference.

Any differences in third party apps between the two machines? Spam programs?
A/V programs? Make sure e-mail scanning is disabled in the A/V programs for
both machines.

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They will eventually become
corrupt. Create your own user defined folders for storing mail and move your
mail to them. Empty Deleted Items folder regularly. Keep user created
folders under 100MB, and Default folders as empty as is feasible.

After you are done, follow up by compacting your folders manually while
working *offline* and do it often.

Click on Outlook Express at the top of the folder tree so no folders are
open. Then: FileWork Offline (or double click Working Online in the Status
Bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the
compacting is completed.

In Tools | Options | Maintenance: Uncheck Compact messages in background and
leave it unchecked. {N/A if running XP/SP2}.

A few POP3 servers will delete a message once it has been downloaded even if
not sent the DELETE command. Does the server have a Web interface you can
check?

Another thing to try is to export the account on the laptop, transfer it,
and import it on the desktop.

If that still doesn't do it, try a new OE identity on the desktop.
