You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old identity and delete it. Why would that make the toolbar disappear?
I think it happens whan I compose and send an email. Like it is there now. but I had to click on the line on the left before then again after I sent the last email. Did you even try? It takes about 2 minutes to create an identity. See if the
problem persists in the new identity. You don't have to import anything to the new ID until it proves to be working. A damaged identity is /not/ a rare occurrence. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA wrote in message ... Why would that make the toolbar disappear? Yes, I have two identities
one was just there but not configured. I configured it and no change. I believe the issue just started - though things go so fast I really can't remember how long it has been happening. Actually, I was using Windows Live Mail and dumped that because it was a PITA and gave me various problems I and TS-N couldn't resolve. Now I am back to OE and it may be that it has been there lurking. I don't remember it before I switched to WLM. On Tue, 7 Oct 2008 10:48:04 -0700, "Bruce Hagen" wrote: Did you even try?
