I'm just getting started using Newsgroups with OE6 and find that while
replying to messages other people started works just fine, and replying to my own original message is fine, if I try to reply to those who have replied to a message of my own OE6 doesn't insert "" before the quoted material. For example: If I write: "Is anyone out there?" Any you reply: "Yes, I'm here." And I reply to that, what I see in my Reply to Group message is: Is anyone out there? Yes, I'm here. Rather than: Is anyone out there? Yes, I'm here. And, as I mentioned, on any other message/topic/thread/whatever-their-called started by another person I don't have this problem. If it makes a difference, I don't use the ""s in my emails (I used the HTML formatting there). Is there any way to solve this other than manually typing in the ""s? |

HTML does not insert the indent . You can have it use the solid line. What
newsgroups do you use HTML in? I see this was posted in plain text. This may give you the options you want, but you'll have to check for yourself. I was saying that my EMAILS were using HTML, not my newsgroup posts.
Thanks for the link, something like that might help...I'll have to take a closer look a bit later. "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... HTML does not insert the indent . OK. Missed that point. FYI, if you reply to someone that used Quoted
Printable, OE will not insert the on a reply. Most used MIME / None for the news sending format which is recommended. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "EMK" wrote in message ...
