Default Getting ""s before quotes in Newsgroup replies when I started them

I'm just getting started using Newsgroups with OE6 and find that while
replying to messages other people started works just fine, and replying to
my own original message is fine, if I try to reply to those who have replied
to a message of my own OE6 doesn't insert "" before the quoted material.

For example:

If I write: "Is anyone out there?"
Any you reply: "Yes, I'm here."
And I reply to that, what I see in my Reply to Group message is:

Is anyone out there?

Yes, I'm here.

Rather than:
Is anyone out there?

Yes, I'm here.

And, as I mentioned, on any other message/topic/thread/whatever-their-called
started by another person I don't have this problem. If it makes a
difference, I don't use the ""s in my emails (I used the HTML formatting
there). Is there any way to solve this other than manually typing in the
""s?

HTML does not insert the indent . You can have it use the solid line. What
newsgroups do you use HTML in? I see this was posted in plain text.

This may give you the options you want, but you'll have to check for
yourself.

I was saying that my EMAILS were using HTML, not my newsgroup posts.

Thanks for the link, something like that might help...I'll have to take a
closer look a bit later.

OK. Missed that point. FYI, if you reply to someone that used Quoted
Printable, OE will not insert the on a reply. Most used MIME / None for
the news sending format which is recommended.
