a friend recently changed her email address and her provider. when i emailed
her, the below error msg appeared. i now get the error msg before all outgoing emails. they go thru, but only after the error msg appears. the error msg also appears whenever i boot up express. i called the provider and they said to send her email thru webmail. i did and there was no error msg. the provider said the problem was with express. here is the error msg with my friend's user name deleted: The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was .'. Subject 'Fw: _____________', Account: 'pop.west.cox.net', Server: 'smtp.west.cox.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.5.0 . domain missing or malformed', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79 she doesn't have this problem with anyone else, just my accnt. any help would be greatly appreciated. marc |
